Financial awareness plays a vital role in shaping individuals’ saving behavior, investment decisions, and tax planning practices. This study examines the level of awareness among respondents in Kerala regarding saving schemes, investment avenues, and tax planning knowledge. Primary data were collected from 120 respondents using a structured questionnaire, and the analysis was carried out using statistical tools such as mean scores, standard deviation, and t-tests. The findings reveal high awareness of traditional saving instruments, moderate awareness of tax planning provisions, and limited knowledge of modern market-linked investment options. The study highlights the need for targeted financial literacy initiatives to promote informed financial decision-making and long-term financial stability.
