Contemporary cities management and urbanization: Reality and ambition - Fallujah as a model

This study aims to shed light on the concept of the city, urbanization, and contemporary city management, extrapolating the reality of the situation in our cities done by observation and by analyzing the opinions of two samples: one represents the staff of the Administration of the city, and the author represents the residents of the city. The study reached conclusions, the most important of which is the weak level of achievement of the various dimensions of the city management and the results of testing the differences between the opinions of members of the two samples for all variables indicate that there are no significant differences between the two samples. So there is a clear agreement between the opinions of the members of the two samples regarding the weak level of achieving the various dimensions of city management. Finally, presenting some proposals seeking to improve the level of thinking, management and behavior in the city, and how urbanization must be a feeling and daily behavior among the people who live in the city, in a way that reduces the wide gap of underdevelopment and to achieve a leap quality to catch up with the great development taking place in the cities of the contemporary world.
